some_words_about_my approach_to_your_wedding:   Because I am a photojournalist by trade, I approach your wedding as a photojournalist. I am there to document you wedding day as it happens. My experience as a working photojournalist will enable me to capture candid moments from your special day. Aside from formal portraits, I try not to stage photos, unless this is your preference. It is important for me to have an idea of the details of the wedding ceremony so I can be in position for the best photos. Making photos is a collaborative process. I prefer to meet with you before your wedding to discuss what your ideas are and make a list of the events and people at your wedding of whom and of which you might want pictures. We will also discuss more details such as when you want your portraits to be completed.

I shoot digital media. Online proofs will be available for you to peruse. I will prepare up to 80 different images of your choosing from the online proofs for printing. The prints are custom photographic prints, color-corrected, toned and dodged and burned (Dodging and burning is lightening or darkening certain areas to bring details out of the shadows and darken distracting elements of an images). Those images will also be burned to a DVD for you.

Wedding albums are flush-mount post-bound or perfect-bound albums. Images are printed to the pages with archival ink. Most people cannot tell the difference between the archival inkjet prints and photographs. The archival inkjet prints have the same shelf life as photographs. Post bound albums are expandable to 40 pages (80 sides). Pages can be added or removed any time. Perfect-bound albums are can hold up to 25 pages (50 sides) and are bound similar to a library book. Other album options are also available.

It is my goal to make my wedding packages as flexible as possible, so that you are delighted with the pictures that will commemorate your wedding. I have provided five wedding packages.
